ATP World Tour: The Asian Swing That Was

The ATP World Tour's three-week, five-tournament Asian swing has concluded with the Shanghai Masters in China. Here are all the winners:

Shanghai (ATP Masters 1000) - Andy Murray (d. Roger Federer)
Tokyo (ATP 500) - Rafael Nadal (d. Gael Monfils)
Beijing (ATP 500) - Novak Djokovic (d. David Ferrer)
Bangkok (ATP 250) - Guillermo Garcia-Lopez (d. Jarkko Nieminen)
Kuala Lumpur (ATP 250) - Mikhail Youzhny (d. Andrey Golubev)

Now the tour is back in Europe for the rest of the season, leading up to the Barclays ATP World Tour Finals. Since top-ranked Rafael Nadal has already clinched the year-end No. 1 following his US Open triumph, the battle for year-end No. 2 will be interesting to watch, as Roger Federer tries to hold off Novak Djokovic, who finished the last three years at No. 3.
