In 2009, it was the career grand slam and title #15 to claim solo ownership of all-time Grand Slam singles record. This year at the Australian Open, after adding yet another trophy to his record haul, one can't help but ask - what's next for Roger Federer?
The Calendar Slam
The most obvious next target would be a Calendar slam, which Rod Laver achieved twice. Rafa Nadal was in a similar situation last year after having won the Australian Open - he just needed to defend his French and Wimbledon titles and then win the US Open. Yet Rafa did not win another slam after the '09 Australian Open. Would Roger fare better? Defending the French might prove to be the most difficult part of this quest. After all, Federer should already have two calendar slams under his belt had he not lost those two French Open finals in 2006 and 2007.

Federer already co-owns records for most Australian Open and US Open titles. The Wimbledon record is within his reach as well:
